Our Presence in the UK
In the UK, Tegometall is a well-established partner for retail and shopfitting projects, working closely with key accounts and industry leaders. Our local team combines market expertise with the strength of an international group, ensuring both responsiveness and high delivery capability.
Your responsibilities:
- Technical and managerial oversight of the warehouse operations at the Eastwood and Grantham locations
- Ensuring the smooth operation of all warehouse processes, particularly goods receipt, putaway, order picking, packaging, and shipping
- Organizing, coordinating, and supervising day-to-day operations at both locations
- Management, scheduling, and professional development of subordinate staff
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and internal guidelines
- Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels, storage space, and workflows
- Analyzing existing processes and developing and implementing improvement measures to increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Ensuring a consistent approach across locations and coordination between Eastwood and Grantham
- Close collaboration with adjacent departments, particularly Sales, the Projects Team, and other internal interfaces
- Participation in inventory counts, evaluations, and general organizational matters within the warehouse
- Preparation of key performance indicators, reports, and decision-making documentation for senior management
Your profile:
- Completed education in logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a leadership role
- Experience in managing and optimizing operational warehouse processes
- Leadership experience and the ability to develop and motivate employees
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong organizational skills, assertiveness, and a sense of responsibility
- Analytical thinking and an understanding of business operations
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Very good written and spoken English
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is a plus
